Tasting notes
Gentle note of honey and a touch of apricot and honeysuckle, then limey too like Riesling, more like the 2010. Then all that flavour on the nose is pulled back in to the tension on the spine of that extreme acidity. Smoky and mineral on the finish yet with an intense citrus clarity. Stunning. (JH)

Pale gold. Very broad compared with his other wines. Slightly reductive nose. Very complete. Exciting and spicy with lots of juicy fruit. Firm undertow and still a bit of astringency from the barrels. Long and reverberant. (JR)
