Palish red. Redcurrant, mint, spices and a peppery nuance on the nose. Supple and sweet; less ripe than the '05 but in a fruitier, more supple style. Despite brisk acidity and peppery and herbal notes, this leanish wine avoids coming off as hard.

Palish red. Reserved nose hints at black cherry, herbs, spices, licorice and pepper. Tightly wound and rather cool, with good flavor intensity but less pliancy and sweetness than the Narbantons. On the finings today and a tad dry as a result.
