(still a bit of malic acidity remaining) Aromas of sweet apple and apple butter. Superripe, sweet and rich, with peach and nectarine flavors; very ripe and full in the mouth. Long and chewy on the finish; leaves behind scents of hazelnut and vanilla in the glass. Boillot told me this fruit was harvested in particularly fine condition. Seems suppler and perhaps riper than the '00, if not as obviously minerally.
