Good medium red. Very ripe aromas of raspberry, smoked meat, coffee and exotic spices. Silky-sweet and slightly high-toned but not at all over the top; shows more grip than the Echezeaux. This rich, chewy wine possesses more stuffing to support its tannins and finishes with more impressive length.

Deep red-ruby. Bitter cherry and dark chocolate on the nose. The supplest, fattest and sweetest of these young 2007s, conveying an impression of density and perfume thanks to strong smoky minerality throughout. Finishes with a lighter touch than the Echezeaux, leaving behind a floral perfume in the empty glass. The most complete and complex 2007 here.
