Score 81/100 · Robert Parker, Apr 1995

There is nothing objectionable or out of balance about this understated, crisp, tart, but cleanly made, politically correct Cabernet Sauvignon, but it is so restrained and understated to be ... boring. Wine is meant to be a beverage of pleasure, and while this 1985 Cabernet does provide some charm, there is just not much to it. It has held up for a decade, but I do not recommend keeping it much longer.
