Tasting notes
The 2011 Pinot Noir Elizabeth's Reserve has a lovely bouquet with great transparency - strawberry pastilles, red cherries, bergamot and rose petals. There is very fine Pinoté here. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, a keen thread of acidity, plenty of tart cherry fruit with fine mineralité on the finish. Very fine indeed - this is a Pinot Noir that has more to give.

Cranberry, black cherry, really light tannins. Good floral perfume. Crunchy, bright finish with a lovely clove note. (RH)
Light, bright red. Fresh red berries, rose oil and Asian spices on the perfumed nose. Silky, open-knit raspberry and floral pastille flavors show good depth and become spicier with air. Quite suave, with plush red fruit note clinging on a long, smooth, subtly tannic finish. This sexy pinot should be in its prime within the next couple of years.
