Score 87/100 · Drink 2016-2025, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jun 2016

The 2014 Pinot Noir Freedom Hill Vineyard has a generous maraschino cherry, strawberry and quite spicy bouquet that changes in the glass, becoming a little tarry and smoky in style with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, earthy red berry fruit, but I felt there was a touch of dryness towards the finish. Hopefully it will develop a little more flesh in bottle.
