Score 97/100 · Drink 2027-2043, Jeb Dunnuck, Mar 2025

Based on 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Cabernet Franc raised in 66% new French oak, the 2022 The Mark boasts brilliant aromas of red and black currants, gunflint, chocolate, and spicy, savory herbs. Full-bodied and pure on the palate, it shows the ripe, fruit-forward style of the vintage while delivering brilliant depth and richness, with ripe, integrated tannins. Best after 2-3 years of bottle age, drink over the following 12-15 years.
