Tasting notes
The 2014 Cabernet Franc Robert’s checks in as 100% varietal that spent 25 months in 80% new French oak. This beauty has a sweet bouquet of crème de cassis and blackberry fruits intermixed with loads of floral, spice, forest floor, and chocolate aromas and flavors. With a terrific core of fruit, a rounded, supple, sexy profile, and rock-solid overall freshness and balanced, it’s a textbook Cabernet Franc from the Valley to drink over the coming 10-15 years.

The 2014 Robert's Cabernet Franc is wonderfully expressive, with generous aromatic depth and tons of pure personality. Today, the 2014 is a bit reticent, but it seems to have all the potential to develop into something special with more time in the cellar.
The opaque purple-black 2014 Cabernet Franc Robert's Blend is 100% Cabernet Franc from Oakville. It's scented of baked red and black currants, fried herbs, dried beef and tobacco with a waft of dusty earth. Big, full, rich and bit too chewy/hard in the mouth, this is certainly a big bertha, but it wears it well!
