Tasting notes
The 2019 Zinfandel Cedarman is bold and pungent, with tons of mountain savoriness and structure. Crushed leaves, tobacco, menthol, licorice, pine and wild cherry infuse the 2019 with tons of character. Once again, the Cedarman delivers tons of personality. And its an absolute steal, too!

Deep ruby, the 2019 Zinfandel Cedarman has dense aromas of blackberries, licorice, dried violets and earth, gaining more nuance with time in the glass. The palate is full-bodied and deeply fruited, with a firm and fresh frame and long, layered finish. It's gorgeous and will have more to show with time in bottle. 970 cases produced.
The 2019 Zinfandel Cedarman is a blend taken from both Dragon and Rattlesnake Ridge, with a healthy addition of Petite Syrah from Rattlesnake. Inky deep and wonderfully expressive, the Cedarman has so much to offer. Black fruit, cloves, leather and licorice are all wonderfully knit together. It is also one of the very best values in Napa Valley and a hidden gem in the range.
