Tasting notes
Buoncristiani's 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is fabulous. Rich, creamy and voluptuous in the glass, the 2015 is beautifully persistent in the opulent, flamboyant style Buoncristiani does so well. Black cherry, mocha, flowers, bittersweet chocolate, sweet spice and leather build into the sumptuous finish. The 2015 is not at all subtle, but it is quite beautiful and full of appeal.

The deep ruby/purple-colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot) has a classic, savory, complex style that makes it already enjoyable to drink. Aged 20 months in 85% new French oak, it offers lots of sweet fruit and spice, medium to full-bodied richness, a stacked mid-palate, and fine tannin, and it will be even better with short-term cellaring.
Sporting a deep purple-black color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon offers up pronounced crème de cassis, plum preserves and black forest cake notes with hints of cedar, spice box and menthol. Full-bodied, rich and packed with black fruit and baking spice flavor layers, it has a firm, grainy backbone and nice freshness, finishing very long.
