2019 Ladera Cabernet Sauvignon High Plateau

Blended from high-altitude sites on the eastern side of the valley, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon High Plateau is a terrific effort, but there are only 98 cases in total. Cedar and vanilla accent cassis and plum on the nose, while the palate is full-bodied. It's a big, lush, oaky wine (it aged 22 months in 80% new French oak), with rich, layered tannins, ample concentration and a long, velvety finish.
