The 2019 Barbaresco is fabulous. Bright and effusive, with striking aromatic presence, the 2019 is seriously impressive. Crushed flowers, herbs, sweet pipe tobacco and cedar are immediately seductive. Medium in body, with bright acids and plenty of tannin, the Barbaresco is a fine example of what this vintage is all about. I would give it a few years in bottle. This is a terrific showing for the straight Barbaresco.

The 2019 Barbaresco has a slender, almost fragile personality with small berry tones, wild strawberry and blueberry. The effect is very beautiful, especially the melting tannins that characterize the mouthfeel. The wine is fermented in oak and stainless steel and matures in large oak casks for 24 months. This is a production of 12,000 bottles.
