Mid crimson. Quite a burgundian, rich Fleurie. Lots of tannin. Still a baby. (JR)

Richer and more structured than the regular bottling, Coudert's 2020 Fleurie Cuvée Tardive delivers notes of cherries, mulberries, licorice and spices complemented by pretty hints of peony. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and concentrated, it's layered and seamless, with a deep core of fruit and rich, powdery tannins. Despite its broad shoulders, it remains energetic.
