Tasting notes
The 2021 Chardonnay Dutton Ranch was barrel fermented and matured for 16 months in 25% new French oak. Initial cedary tones give way to quince, tangerine peel and beeswax on the nose. The light-bodied palate is focused and energetic with creamy flavors, and the finish is driven by a touch of textural grip. 1,974 cases produced.

A youthful medium yellow hue, the 2021 Chardonnay Dutton Ranch is expressive on opening, with notes of toasted oak spice, bruléed pineapple, and preserved citrus. Medium to full-bodied, it brings forward fantastic balance and energy on the palate, with refreshing, ripe acidity and a long, chalky finish. It is a beautiful Chardonnay to enjoy over the coming 6-8 years and offers tremendous value. 2067 cases were produced.
