Tasting notes
Lots of spicy, sappy herbs, sandalwood, and tobacco notes emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from Frank Family Vineyards. A classic, old-school-like expression of the variety, it has plenty of fruit, silky tannins, and lots of character. It’s well worth following over the coming 10-12 years.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Owner's Blend is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine, mostly from Winston Hill, bottled only in magnum. Cabernet Franc accents lift the bouquet, adding brightness and verve. Crushed red berries, flowers, mint, spice and blood orange fill out the layers. Deep and potent, and yet also super-refined, the Owner's Blend hits all the right notes.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Calistoga leaps with notes of fresh blackberries, stewed black plums and warm cassis, plus hints of garrigue, fragrant earth and tar. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is very earthy with a firm frame of grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and mineral laced.
