Score 87/100 · Drink 1992-1998, Robert Parker, Dec 1992
My favorite 1990s include a light ruby-colored, cherry-scented 1990 Corton-Bressandes with medium body, a satiny texture, and gobs of cherry fruit in its long, alcoholic finish. It is delicious to drink, and while I do not believe it will age particularly well, it should drink nicely for another 4-6 years. I am confident this wine would exhibit even more complexity and richness if this domaine would throw away their filters. Nevertheless, the domaine is still a source of undeniably charming, lighter-styled red burgundies that emphasize finesse and elegance rather than brute power. Importer: Martine's Wines, San Rafael, CA.
