From Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity, Yamhill-Carlton and McMinnville. Fruit from the Bishop Creek vineyard accounts for 30 – 32%, the Momtazi vineyard for 12 – 14%. The rest is estate fruit. Pale ruby with a purple tint. Rich cola and a lot of iron, red fruit, florals and wet leaves. Quite a sweet-fruit nose thoroughly integrated with a wet-leaf component. Very earthy – nearly peaty – with a dry finish. High acid. (SCJ)
Aromas of strawberries, spices and flowers follow through to a medium body with a firm and slightly chewy mouth-feel and a delicious finish. Give it time to come together and open. Unfined and unfiltered. Drink after 2025.
