The 2015 Echézeaux Grand Cru has quite a dense bouquet with red cherries, raspberry and subtle blackberry scents, an underlying tertiary scent developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannin, perhaps the most opulent of Fourrier's negociant range, but maintaining very fine balance all they way through to the finish.

(from the cooler lieu-dit Les Champs Traversins): Medium red. Sexy aromas of strawberry and spices. At once densely packed and sharply delineated, with penetrating acidity and saline minerality giving lift to the middle palate. Chewy and tactile but not at all heavy, this youthfully backward wine finishes firmly tannic and very long.
