Score 95/100 · Drink 2018-2025, Josh Raynolds, Mar 2016

Deep ruby. Ripe, mineral-accented blackberry and cherry aromas show exotic Indian spice and potpourri nuances. Smooth, deep-pitched black and blue fruit liqueur flavors offer a suave blend of richness and vivacity, picking up notes of licorice pastille and fruitcake with air. Completely stains the palate, displaying no excess fat or overripe character. Shows superb energy and a seamless quality on the clinging, mineral-driven finish, which lingers with striking persistence. Note that this is the current release of this bottling, which the Gonons seldom produce.
