Score 93/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Oct 2024
The 2021 Pinot Noir Georganne Vineyard has slowly unfurling scents of red cherry, orange peel, tea leaves, dried herbs and bitters. The medium-bodied palate has a concentrated core of fruit structured by abundant, grainy tannins and refreshing acidity, and it has a long, spicy finish. It will benefit from 2-3 years in bottle. 400 cases produced.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Georgeanne is one of the more restrained wines in this range of Pinot Noirs from Merry Edwards. Crushed flowers, spice, leather and mocha give the Georgeanne lovely aromatic presence. Amply deep yet laid back relative to the other Pinots in the range, the Georgeanne is a charmer.
