Tasting notes
The 2017 Zinfandel Lolita Ranch is bold and racy, with tons of Russian River character. Bright red cherry, cedar, leather, tobacco and mint race out of the glass. High-toned aromatics add character to this mid-weight yet flavorful Zinfandel. Within the context of Martinelli, the Lolita is a bit slender in build, which in turn accentuates the wine's high-toned, intensely aromatic personality.

Medium ruby with aromas of ripe yellow peach, crushed blueberries, blackberry pie, warm black cherry and spice, the 2017 Zinfandel Lolita Ranch is medium to full-bodied with dark, peach-accented fruits in the mouth. It has a fine, grainy texture, juicy acidity and a long finish. 233 cases produced.
About the producer

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
