Tasting notes
The 2012 Zinfandel Russian River Valley is gorgeous. Racy and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2012 impresses for its overall balance and personality. Bright red stone fruits, mint, spices, tobacco and new leather are all super-expressive. Veins of acidity give the flavors notable lift and precision.

A delicious, heady, sexy offering, the 2012 Zinfandel Limerick Lane Estate tips the scales at 14.8% alcohol. Its deep plum/ruby/purple color is followed by a super-seductive perfume of jammy red and black fruits, a full-bodied opulence, impressive purity and a long, heady finish. Another great example of top-flight winemaking using wonderful old vine materials, it should drink well for 7-10 years.
