(14.7% alcohol): Dark red with ruby tones. Plum, mocha and cedary oak on the open-knit, slightly high-toned nose, plus a mellow hint of nutty oak. A supple, savory, midweight wine that's not excessively ripe or concentrated but is open for business today. In a rather claret-like style, with its berry, milk chocolate and mocha flavors complicated by an herbal element. Pliant, easygoing, appealing wine with serious but ripe tannins.
