Tasting notes
Signorello's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a dark, brooding wine, just as it was in barrel. Blackberry jam, chocolate, cloves, licorice and leather are some of the many notes that run through this potent, super-concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon. I would prefer to give the 2016 at least a few years in bottle to allow the tannins to soften further.

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate offers notable density and power. Black cherry, licorice, lavender, violet and coffee notes infuse this rich, unctuous Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an especially somber, dark wine for the year, and yet all the elements are very nicely woven together. There is terrific potential here.
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (a barrel sample) has a cassis, blackberries and mulberries-scented nose with an herbal touch and loamy undercurrent. In the mouth, it's firm, chewy and elegant with plenty of energy and freshness.
