Score 88/100 · Drink 2016-2026, Robert Parker, Dec 2015
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon from high on Spring Mountain was aged in 50% new French oak for 20 months prior to be bottled unfined and unfiltered. The wine is lovely and elegant, with sweet black and red currants as well as hints of underbrush and raspberries. It seems forward but evolved, and is best drunk over the next 8-10 years.
