Score 88/100 · Robert Parker, Dec 2009

The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Lone Canyon Vineyard exhibits a drier, more gritty tannic finish which kept its score lower. While it is a leaner, more austere effort, it reveals attractive black cherry and herbaceously-tinged black currant fruit in both the nose and the attack. To reiterate, the finish is worrisome being somewhat attenuated with bitter tannins. Tel. (707) 965-2445; Fax (707) 965-2446
