(8.2% alcohol and 14.4% residual sugar; raised in 100% new oak): Bright gold. Displays an array of ripe orchard and pit fruit qualities on the nose, along with notes of candied orange and rose. Sappy, sweet and palate-coating, with serious depth to its exotic pear and apricot flavors. Aeration intensifies the floral aspect, which carries through a strikingly long vanilla- and smoke-accented finish.
