The medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Pinot Noir Mount Jefferson Cuvee has expressive black cherry aromas. This is a juicy, medium-bodied wine with loads of lush, sweet, red as well as black cherry fruit flavors. Its supple finish is loaded with exceptionally ripe and round tannin. Deep red. Expressive nose melds plum, milk chocolate, smoked meat, rose petal, cinnamon toast and a hint of caramel. Sweet, intensely flavored and penetrating; creamy in the middle but firm-edged on the back end. Flavors of ripe red fruits, coffee grounds and oak. A fairly sizable wine with a hint of finishing dryness.
