Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Zinfandel Dina's Vineyard has a nose of preserved plums, fruitcake, unsmoked cigars and charcoal with nuances of dried herbs, fallen leaves and Chinese five spice. The full-bodied palate has a lovely savory expression with rugged, chewy tannins and compelling freshness, finishing long and savory. 276 cases were made.

The deep ruby/purple-colored 2017 Zinfandel Dina's Vineyard is also a field blend and comes from 100-year-old head trained vines planted in the Russian River Valley. Brought up in 56% new French oak, it displays a beautiful array of blueberries, apple peel, orange rind, and cedary spice. Complex, medium to full-bodied, and flawlessly balanced, it’s in the running for the top Zinfandel in the vintage. Drink it any time over the coming decade.
The 2017 Zinfandel Dina's Vineyard is the clear standout in this range. Rich, sumptuous and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2017 hits all the right notes. Above all else, the Dina's Zinfandel is a wine of texture, but the presence of Alicante is felt as well.
