Tasting notes
Green label. Certified Salmon Safe and LIVE-certified sustainable. Certified organic by CCOF . Absolutely incredible showing for the 2012s. Intensely aromatic with floral rose and cedar, complementing bright, fresh, intense red fruit and deep, resonant spice. Baked brown spices layered on top of fresh red cherry and red plum. Incredibly concentrated and long, with lots of life left. (SCJ)

Brilliant red. Highly energetic, spice-laced dark berry, cherry cola and potpourri aromas pick up a smoky nuance as the wine opens up. Sweet, broad and subtly spicy in the mouth, offering concentrated blackberry and cherry compote flavors and hints of musky rhubarb and succulent herbs. The powerful, clinging finish is framed by smooth, sneaky tannins and leaves notes of ripe blackberry and candied flowers behind.
A library selection, the 2012 Pinot Noir Mineral Springs Vineyard is maturing beautifully, offering a slightly riper, bolder style than recent vintages. “2012 has always been a really showy wine with lots of richness and intensity,” founder Tony Soter explains. It has a medium ruby-garnet color and complex aromas of dried blackberry, black cherry and plums, cigar box, mushrooms and damp earth. The palate is full-bodied with dark, graphite-laced flavors, soft, chalky tannins, juicy acidity and a long, layered finish.
