Leading off the 2021s from Guillaume, the 2021 Fleur De Solene is based on 49% Syrah, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 26% Grenache. Darker berries, leafy herbs, underbrush, truffle, and peppery, meaty nuances all shine here, and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a layered, structured mouthfeel with plenty of tannins, and outstanding length. It shows the more focused, structured style of the vintage and will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age.

The 2021 Fleur de Solène is a blend of 49% Syrah, 26% Grenache and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon that's elegant and easy to drink without sacrificing seriousness or complexity. It has alluring aromas of red and black currants, tobacco, mossy bark, mushrooms and meaty undertones. The medium-bodied palate features Goldilocks ripeness and detailed flavors. It has a chalky, fresh structure and a long, earth-laced finish. It will benefit from 3-5 years in bottle.

The 2021 Fleur de Solene wafts up with a pretty and perfumed blend of waxy rose and red currants. This is soft-textured, enveloping the palate in liquid lavender and violet accents as wild berries and sweet spices cascade throughout. It finishes with tremendous length and classic Cabernet tannins that perfectly frame the experience. The Fleur de Solene is a lovely blend of 49% Syrah, 26% Grenache and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, with only 30% new oak.
