Tasting notes
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, which includes 4% Merlot and a tiny splash of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, sports a dense purple color to go with a charming, supple Cabernet that delivers plenty of spiced plum and blue fruits, some background tobacco and chocolate nuances, medium-bodied richness, and a good finish. It's a rock-solid wine as well as a good value.

Black cherry, tobacco, dark chocolate and ink on the nose, together with some graphite and crushed gravel. It’s full-bodied with firm, powdery tannins. Focused and structured. Nice roundness to this. 97% cabernet sauvignon and 3% petit verdot. Try from 2023.
A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 0.5% Cabernet Franc and 0.5% Petit Verdot, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet-purple color and savory notions of the nose of beef drippings, dried bay leaves and spice box over a core of plum preserves, warm cassis and mulberries plus a waft of cedar. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a lovely restrained, earthy character with plenty of black fruit intensity and a grainy texture, finishing with compelling freshness.
