Tasting notes
I also loved the Syrah from this team, and their 2019 Syrah is a beauty, offering classic, gamey notes of darker berry fruits, peppered meats, iron, thyme, and spring flowers. Rich, powerful and concentrated on the palate, this full-bodied beauty is going to evolve gracefully for 10-15, but there’s no need to delay gratification either.

The 2019 Syrah is fabulous; in fact the Syrah is starting to challenge the Cabernets in this range! Soaring aromatics, plush fruit and compelling inner sweetness make the Syrah one of the most seductive, alluring wines of the year. Sage, tobacco, mint, crème de cassis and spice build into the gorgeous, expansive finish. In a word: Superb.
Made from 100% Syrah, the 2019 Syrah has a deep garnet-purple color and a lifted perfume of roses and Morello cherries over a core of baked plums and cracked black pepper with a hint of charcuterie. Full-bodied, the palate delivers a solid frame of rounded tannins with just enough freshness and a long, peppery finish.
