The 2018 Pinot Noir Abbey Harris Vineyard is in a gorgeous spot for drinking today. Floral notes and flickers of spice flesh out in an elegant, seamless, perfectly harmonious wine that is ready to deliver the goods. Orange peel and slightly bloody notes perk up through the berry fruit as the 2018 evolves in the glass. Everything is in the right place.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Abbey Harris is one of the more reticent, tightly wound wines in the range. Of all the wines in this lineup, the Abbey Harris is going to need time to come together, as the tannins and acids are pretty incisive in the early going. Chalk, white pepper, bright red cherry, mint and orange peel give the 2018 a beguiling upper register.
