The 2010 Pommard 1er Cru Orgelot is a monopole belonging to the domaine. It has a pleasant marine-influenced bouquet with hints of iodine infusing the red berry fruit that is well defined and shows more vigor than the Pezerolles. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp, slightly chalky tannins, a fine thread of acidity with a gritty, nicely structured and focused finish that bodes well for the future. Given this a year or two in bottle perhaps.
