Based on Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, the 2021 Metier Red Blend is a consistently outstanding wine and has upfront blackberry like fruits, complex notes of peppery herb, leather, and earth, medium to full body, ripe tannins, and outstanding length.
Mostly Syrah with 32% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Merlot, the 2021 Red Blend is spicy with hints of peppercorn, fresh dark cherry and subtle wafts of red and purple flowers. Medium-bodied, balanced and fresh, the wine is juicy, ripe and spicy on the palate, with notes of spiced plum dark cherry skin and a food-friendly finish. Fantastic for pasta and pizza night, this delightful wine was aged in French oak, 8% new.
