Reticent aromas of yellow fruits, charred oak, hazelnut and oatmeal; I might have picked this blind as Meursault. Plump, broad, dry and closed, with rather austere flavors of stone fruits and crushed rock. Rich but in need of extended aging.

Nectar-like nose still shows a hint of appley malic acidity. Sweet but dry, with superb intensity and life in the mouth. Very rich and very long. This will require a long elevage as well as several years of bottle aging.
