(tasted from barrel; 100% vendange entier): Good bright, deep red. Chocolate, herbs, licorice and nutty oak on the nose; seems a bit advanced. Then lush and quite sweet but loose-knit, showing an almost candied character to its medicinal dark fruit flavors. Plenty of texture here but I wanted more energy and lift.
