2021 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese

Based on partly botrytized grapes, the remarkably bright 2021 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spätlese * is clear and precise on the deep, intense and flinty, very elegant and delicate nose with notes of crushed blue slate and hints of caramel. Rich yet refined and crystalline on the palate, this is a gorgeously round, finely piquant, stimulating and saline Spätlese in a richer but still elegant and stimulating style. 8.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022.
