The 2022 Tannat is a fascinating and singular wine, offering an intense, opaque nose of black fruits, turned earth, tobacco leaves and graphite. The palate is punchy and opulent, leading to a rustic, earth-driven finish that remains harmonious and complete despite a touch of austerity. While perhaps a bit aggressive at the moment, this should develop very well in the cellar over the coming decade.

A deep, dark color in the glass leads to an array of dark fruit and spices with a herbaceous undertone. The palate is full-bodied with integrated tannins and bright acidity, showing blood plums, cedar, tobacco and mulberries. Drink or hold.
