Medium red. Good lift to the mineral and red berry aromas. Juicy, supple and sweet if not exactly fleshy, with a hint of minerality to the lively red fruit flavors. In a distinctly feminine style, finishing with fine tannins and sneaky length.

(55-year-old vines) Medium red. Rather reduced aromas of red fruits, smoke, minerals and espresso. Supple and fairly rich, with better mouth coverage than the village wines. Strawberry, smoke and underbrush flavors complicated by a suggestion of celery seed. Finishes with riper tannins.
