Tasting notes
Toasted aromatics overlay a body of juicy dark fruit. A juicy, succulent fruit palate mixed through and finishing with sweet spice and a bit of a pepper. Oak tannins carry through the finish. (ECB)

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon offers up mulberry and floral notes, some blacker currants, and touches of licorice, forest floor and underbrush. Displaying impressive purity, medium to full-bodied texture, and ripe, well-integrated tannin, it should drink well for 15-20 years.
A huge, bombastic wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon hits the palate with serious depth. Smoke, grilled herbs, melted road tar, super-ripe black fruit and licorice abound in a large-scaled, ample Cabernet Sauvignon full of mountain character. Ideally, I would like to see a little more finesse, but there is certainly no shortage of personality here.
