Tasting notes
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate displays a dense purple color, loads of crème de cassis, licorice and spice box, and a full-bodied, nicely textured mouthfeel. Drink it over the next 15 or more years.

A huge, dark wine the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts tremendous extract and intensity. Inky blue and purplish fruit, grilled herbs, mocha, lavender, mint, black olives flesh out in a dramatic, full-throttle Cabernet with more than enough depth to fill out its large-scaled frame. The 2013 is massively shut down today and likely to require a good number of years in bottle before it starts showing the full breadth of its personality.
Dehlinger's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is insanely beautiful. Lavender, violets, graphite, smoke, black pepper and licorice explode from the glass, all supported by huge swaths of tannin and tons of overall structure. The 2013 is incisive and powerful to the core, with more than enough intensity to support many years of exceptional drinking. This is one of the most impressive wines I have tasted from Dehlinger.
