Tasting notes
Beaulieu's 2010 Reserve Tapestry comes across as a bit heavy in this vintage. There is good up-front depth and immediacy, but some of the persistence drops off on the mid-palate. Mocha, cloves, licorice and tar flesh out on the finish.

The deep ruby/purple-tinged 2010 Tapestry Reserve, a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot, is earthy and spicy displaying hints of herbs, underbrush, sweet black currants and oak in the background. It is a medium-bodied, elegant 2010 to drink over the next 10-12 years. Beaulieu Vineyard (or BV) is definitely returning to the great form they possessed in the 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s. This has been noticeable since the 2007s were released. Tel. (800) 264-6918
