Tasting notes
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Moulds Family Vineyard is dense, powerful and explosive, with a stunning combination of fruit richness and the more savory/mineral-driven inflections that are typical of this site. Inky blue/black fruit, crème de cassis, licorice, menthol and spice all run through this heady, super-concentrated Cabernet.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Moulds Family Vineyard is deep purple-black colored with aromas of baked plums, fried herbs, dried cherries, cedar and pencil lead. The palate is medium-bodied, attenuated, herbal and earthy with a chewy frame, finishing a bit short.
Another gorgeous wine in this range, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Moulds Family Vineyard is inky, dense and voluptuous. Crème de cassis, menthol, licorice, cloves, chocolate and new leather flesh out in a racy, inviting wine that is going to be impossible to resist, even young.
