Score 92/100 · Drink 2024-2031, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2023

The 2021 Le Boucher is quite attractive, but also a bit different from past years, given the much lower percentage of Cabernet Franc (17%). Even so, there's plenty of aromatic savoriness. Dried flowers, mint, sage, tobacco and cedar lend aromatic presence to this mid-weight offering. Broad tannins on the finish, from the higher presence of Cabernet Sauvignon, add a slightly burly feel on the close.
