Red-ruby. Black raspberry and charry oak on the nose. Sweet, ripe and textured, but the Cote-Rotie sap and spice are overpowered by the wine's oak. Still, this is an attractive if somewhat generic red wine. Finishes with dusty tannins and decent length.
