Looking at the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Estate, this beauty is all varietal and spent 20 months in 80% new French oak. Pauillac-like notes of darker currants, chocolate, lead pencil, and loamy earth all define the bouquet, and it’s full-bodied and beautifully balanced, with a seamless mouthfeel and a great finish. There are 500 cases. and it’s well worth seeking out.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Estate is a remarkably dark purple-black in the glass. Scents of pencil shavings accent black cherries, plums and hints of scorched earth on the nose, while the palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with a tannic, chewy finish.
