Tasting notes
Score 65/100 · Drink 1980, Robert Parker, Jan 1998

Fading badly, as evidenced by the brown color, the 1971 Calon-Segur has a decaying mushroom aroma, soft, barely alive flavors, and an acidic finish. My notes reveal I enjoyed a good bottle in 1977, but time has not been kind to this vintage of Calon-Segur. Last tasted, 10/80.
